| Day 3 in Houston |

Im soooooo missing home! I miss curling up in bed and sleeping next to my sweetie and waking up to him.
Don't get me wrong I love my mom but its hard for me to see her not moving like she was.
As most don't know....on monday my mom's hip replacement popped outta place and she ended up on the floor. Luckily she had a doctors appt. scheduled for 2:30 so a friend/coworker of hers was coming by at 1:30 to take her. When he arrived he found he laying on the floor. He has a key but she hadnt removed the latch that keeps the door from opening more than a few inches. He had to go around to the back door once in he couldnt help her and called 911. She had been lying on the floor for 2 hours and was in incredible pain. They took her to the hospital but they didnt give her any drugs until after they took X-rays.
It was 5pm before she was given those... Then the doctor came and knocked her out and was able to pop her hip back into socket. Meanwhile....Im packing a bag,laptop and everything else while waiting for Scott to get home! Off I went to the airport and caught a 9pm flight back to Houston. I hadnt been gone for even a day!
I got to bring mom home tuesday afternoon after she was given a brace to wear that goes from her middle all the way to her knee. It is designed to keep her hip in place. Today we went to her other doctor and next week she follows up with the doctor that put her hip in place.
Im glad she's not in pain.....and I get to go home on sunday!
